Frank Webster
Web Design


Mr. Webster was born in Miami and raised in Lakeland, FL, where he still resides. He graduated from Lakeland High School in 1995. While attending LHS he was a part of Future Educators of America and the Varsity Football team. After graduating from high school he went on to earn the first half of his Bachelors degree at Polk Community College. He then transferred to Warner Southern College. While attending Warner Southern he worked in the LHS Media Center as a computer lab manager. Mr. Webster graduated with his B.A. in Business Management with a concentration in Information Technology and Public Administration. Soon after, he obtained his Masters degree in Educational Media Design and Technology from Full Sail University.

Upon finishing his undergraduate degree, Mr. Webster became a teacher in the Business Department at Lakeland High School. He is going into his sixth year as a teacher where he currently is teaching Web Design and is the Director of the IT Academy. During the span of his teaching career at Lakeland High School, one of his web sites, LakelandFootball.com, was recognized by Sports Illustrated as one of the top three Prep web sites in the nation. Mr. Webster has coached football, headed up the Future Business Leaders of America Club and also the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at LHS. In 2009 he was awarded the Career and Adult Educator of the Year for Polk County.

Mr. Webster enjoys all types of competitive sports, trail riding in his Jeep, camping, hiking, and anything outdoors. Other interests are the visual and performing arts, cooking, and traveling. He is an avid gamer and enjoys playing online with the xbox 360. He also enjoys spending time with his best friend Herschel, a Boston Terrier.

Dane Mooney
Computer Programming / Math


Mr. Mooney was born in Texas and spent the majority of his childhood living in West Texas. He arrived in Lakeland, by way of a two-year stint in Missouri, when he enrolled at Lakeland High School as a sophomore. While at LHS, he lettered in two sports, football and track/field, was President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, a member of The Bagpipe literary magazine staff and graduated with honors in 1992.

Mr. Mooney completed his bachelor's degree in mathematics with a concentration in computer programming and secondary education certification from Florida Southern College in 1996. While at Florida Southern, he was President of the Student Government Association, a member of Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society, an officer in Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, co-authored and co-presented a research paper at the 1996 Mu Alpha Theta Mathematics Honor Society National Convention in Durango, Colorado and was named the "Honor Walk" student in 1996, the highest honor awarded to a student at FSC.

After college, Mr. Mooney spent a year as a programmer at Publix Super Markets in Lakeland. Since 1997, he has been a teacher and coach in Lakeland and Chiefland, Florida. Over the years, he has taught almost every math class between Pre-Algebra and Calculus, along with several PE courses, and has coached football, track/field and golf; however, his current teaching assignment is mostly upper-level math classes.

When he is not working on school stuff, you'll find him with his wife and sons. His wife is a math teacher at Rochelle School of the Arts and his boys are seven and three. As a family, they love going to church, attending LHS/HAC activities (especially athletic events), going fishing and hanging out at home.

Jennifer Goleno
Introduction to Information Technology

Mrs. Goleno was born and raised in Lakeland, FL. She graduated from Lakeland High School with honors in 1990. While at LHS, she was an active member in Future Business Leaders of America and the Debonettes Service Club.

Mrs. Goleno completed her bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Management from Florida Southern College in 1995.  After college, Mrs. Goleno worked for five years in the Accounting Department for Publix Super Markets. Her job duties as Cash Manager included balancing the short term cash portfolio estimated at more than 500 million dollars. After starting a family, Mrs. Goleno decided to pursue a job in education. Before coming to LHS, she taught accounting at Kathleen High School. While at KHS Mrs. Goleno was the FBLA and Senior Class advisor.  In 2004, she decided to come back home to LHS as the school’s Testing Coordinator.  Mrs. Goleno is very excited to be a part of the new IT Academy in the fall!
 
Mrs. Goleno has been married to Tony for 16 years and is the proud mother of three boys Logan, Tyler and Gavin.  She enjoys spending time with her family, trips to North Carolina in the summer and watching LHS football!
