After IT Academy

Once you graduate from LHS with completed coursework and certifications from the IT Academy, you can either continue your education by studying at a college, university, specialized training institute, or enter into the workforce right away.

College Bound
If you choose to attend a college or university, the knowledge and experiences that you will have gained through the IT classes will assist you in future college classes. Many of the IT classes actually earn you college credit. This will save you time and money with the classes that you will not have to take or pay for in the future.

Work Through School
Some IT Academy graduates will choose to work their way through a post-secondary education. By using the skills you have learned in the IT Academy it is possible for you to gain part-time employment while you study. Rather than earning minimum wage in a job not related to your chosen career field, you can earn more money through working in a job that relates to your IT Academy training and to the degree you are seeking. You'll be able to gain more money and more job related experiences while attending a post-secondary institute.

Straight to Work
The certifications you earn through the IT Academy at LHS are nationally recognized by industry. This means big business values the certifications you will earn here at the IT Academy.
